授予“改革先锋”称号

12月18日，庆祝改革开放40周年大会在京举行。集团董事局主席、首席执行官作为注重企业管理创新的优秀企业家代表被党中央 国务院授予“改革先锋”称号。在国资委主导下，与海果央联共同发起成立混合所有制的央果一家北京电子商务有限公司，推动央企、国企及中直机关的行政后勤采购平台信息化建设。

创业三十三周年研讨会

12月25日，“纪念改革开放四十周年暨海尔创业三十三周年研讨会”召开。各平台展示了物联网引爆最新成果，张首席对每个平台进行了指导并作主题发言。会上，张首席剖析了公司发展中价值体系的沿革路径。创业三十三年，公司经历了从0 到1、从1到N、再从N到1的发展阶段，每个阶段对应的不同的创造价值和传递价值体系。N到1阶段，公司适应物联网时代发展，颠覆经典管理，创造物联网引领模式，变成一个个网络节点

9月27日，《哈佛商业评论》高级编辑柯恩来海尔采访张瑞敏首席执行官。据悉，《哈佛商业评论》做一个“领导人怎样经受考验”的专题，指定在全球采访六位不同领域的领袖人物，在中国唯一选定的就是本公司首席执行官。

出口商品交易会隆重开幕

10月15日，第100届中国出口商品交易会（广交会）在广州隆重开幕。中共中央政治局常委、国务院总理温家宝，中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理吴仪出席广交会开幕式后，温总理来到了本馆进行了视察工作。并得到了点评。
